Launched in response to our community need for a safe, substance-free place, THRIVE is the first and only of its kind on Long Island. Members of the recovery community and their families can pursue better skills, better relationships, and ultimately better lives.
Because addiction respects no boundaries of gender, race, age or socio-economic status, we hope all who are striving to sustain and strengthen their recovery – as well as their families – will utilize THRIVE.
Family & Children’s Association (FCA) leads the operations and oversight of THRIVE Recovery Community and Outreach Center in partnership with the Long Island Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence (LICADD), Long Island Recovery Association (LIRA), and Families in Support of Treatment (F.I.S.T.). THRIVE is funded by the NYS Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services (OASAS) and through private contributions.
