THRIVE Suffolk

THRIVE Suffolk opened its doors in March of 2017 in response to the growing opioid epidemic. This program is the result of a partnership between Family and Children’s Association, Long Island Recovery Association (LIRA), Families in Support of Treatment (F.I.S.T.), and the Long Island Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence (LICADD). Our centrally located community center provides transportation to our services from local treatment centers and recovery homes, free of charge. We also bring in support workshops and activities to local recovery homes and numerous treatment centers in the area. This program is always evolving to meet the needs of our growing community to continue to support thousands of individuals each month.
